| The RFL, & SL, are in a very weak position on poor financial viability, this has led to SKY, holding a position of power in negotiating a
Reduced bill for the future years !
It also means that sky can dictate, sky hold all the cards to suit them filling up their air to view time !
The truth is we are all as a sport now fighting for survival,
The sport leaders have been poor as a whole, over all SL finance matters, poor retention of central funds, there should have been a
Percentage of monies paid into a fine built into the deal of an agreed main sponser, however there will be a small fund ! But I
Worry that monies will have been lost on expansion goals ?
All successful businesses always keep the main core of the business sound & not weak by put the business at risk just to expand
At the expense of keeping the main core of its business strong & viable, whilst holding funds for a rainy day/s.
Basically as a sport & business, we have lacked a plan & structure to reach a stronger end goal !
But I love the sport but have to accept its poor business performance !

| This post barely makes any sense as it is, but makes even less sense in the context of Toronto not being given any central funding so that more cash can be directed to "heartland" clubs. The idea the game has been investing too much in expansion would be of some interest to those involved in expansion.
