Quote ="wakeytrin"Excellent on Trinity TV with Connor interviewing Tom. Really enjoyed it. Keep these interviews coming [uto keep fans engaged with the club.[/u'"
Agree with what you say, however I feel that there is more to this. Not only is it keeping the fans engaged with the club, but the players involved with the club and the community.
Rugby players are gregarious, they are social animals, being part of a team and this has been taken away from them. In a recent interview, Chessy said that some of our players were living alone, so they've gone from one extreme to another overnight. I hope that the club does many more interviews, social media questions etc etc in order to make these isolated players feel part of our rugby 'community'. We've heard from a few of the higher profile players eg Tom and Reece, but hopefully we can engage with others, especially the ones who are alone. It's all about player welfare really and making the players feel wanted and interacting with and being part of the wider WT community. There may be other ways that the club could utilise in order to get individual (currently they are individuals and not a team as we usually see them) players involved with the fans, anyone any thoughts/comments?
