Being a scouser I'm always pleased to see the the wools of St Helens get beat. But I suppose they lost to their fellow woolybacks in Dire who I dislike even more!
Warrington easily outplayed Stains and deserved their win. However, it won't be their year again as they simply don't have the firepower over the season to be Champions despite very much having a quality squad.
I suspect tonight will be as good as it gets for the wolves and within a month they'll return to caling for the head of Price again so they may as make the most of it. Last time the beat Saints in August they put their cue on the rack and did nothing for the rest of last season despite of their fans claiming they'd be GF winners.
Very good from Warrington last night but probably expected given the team Saints had out. Promising start to the season nevertheless but I would have expected them to put a lot more points on given how dominant they were and how bad Saints were.
