Quote ="JEAN CAPDOUZE"Everyone will have their personal hopes and dreams for rugby league in 2020. Here are my three:
1. Catalans win the Grand Final at Old Trafford against St Helens by one point (field goal by James Maloney).
2. Toronto Wolfpack wins the Challenge Cup at Wembley against Catalans Dragons by one point. (Sonny Bill Willams is the Lance Todd trophy winner). Though the Wembley attendance is only 58,612 the BBC television audience is a record for the Challenge Cup, and 2.63 million watch the live telecast in Canada, as well as 1.9 million in France, making it the most viewed Challenge Cup in history.
3. Toulouse Olympique wins the Championship final and Million Pound game against Featherstone Rovers by 13 points, to gain promotion to Super League in 2021, replacing Wakefield Trinity.'"
This is obviously the best post of this thread, and quite possibly the best post of any thread this month.
Instead of personal attacks on me, the Wakefield-Leigh-Lower Hutt team needs to present forward looking ideas like mine, which actually project a bright future for rugby league.
