[uDon't[/u whatever you do, book into the hotel that advertises "If you don't want any sleep, stay here" or along those lines. A mate once booked it for its cheapness...it did what it said on the tin -and more besides...
The majority of hotels in Liverpool city centre are fully booked for the 25th & 26th of May . The RFL are announcing the MW venue on the 13 th of November .

Many people like ourselves will have booked cancellable rooms for that date both in Newcastle & Liverpool already.
Stay in Southport, lots of cheap hotels. Get Merseyrail into Liverpool Sandhills (30 mins) and the Soccer bus straight to the ground. If you want to visit the city centre it is just a few extra stops on the train. Trains run 'till late.
