Great player, always gave 100%, small by today's standards yet as tough as they came.
I remember in the 1989 Cup final he was in the losing Saints side. Despite them getting drubbed he never stopped putting his hand up for the ball, even after making mistakes he never hid when others in that side with bigger reputations went missing completely.
