Harlequins RU defeated Gloucester on December 27th 2016 in front of 77,000 fans.....Harlequins RU had a 5k average gate when the London Broncos started lodging with them and now have a 14,500 stadium which they fill regularly, whilst Gloucester average 2,500 below their own capacity.........so after the 27,000 "regulars' why and where do the other 50,000 come from......and why when it's about 2 degrees with a 80% chance of rain?
My daughter, who regularly attends London Broncos games has been to the last 5 of these boxing day games....her employer buys a ticket for all his staff...I think he pays about 8 quid a pop.....perception is everything and if we have to fill stadiums with wholesale ticket pricing then so be it......
