For gods sake, why did they have to do it on 5 Live, a BBC station? Why couldn't they have waited and asked Sky Sports News radio to do it. Lenegan isn't going to be a happy chappy.

Although I've heard Ian Lenagan isn't happy. He's said that despite helping arrange it he didn't know what was going on and just went along with the crowd. Basically the RFL railroaded it through by giving clubs only 6 weeks to think about it and he didn't want to appear like he's got no mates.
He's appalled at the RFL's lack of professionalism.

Great news, and I'd rather see a 'neutral' BBC team do the commentary than the dated, biased drivel that Radio Humberside dish up!
