No, he disliked the sport. The interview above was a disgrace and having seen the replay came across like someone treating the sport like a joke. Lost count of ow many times he asked QOS RL guests whether they wanted to play RU, funnily enough wasn't reciprocated when RU guest on the show.

He may or may not have liked RL but then why should he - we don't have a divine right as a sport to be loved by all. So what if he didn't, I watched QOS all the time whilst he hosted it and I saw no evidence of any supposed dislike so at the very least he was professional - get over yourself.

David Coleman is rightly considered a great of his generation of sports presenters and the tributes flowing form sportsmen and his peers underline this. Your post on the other hand explains why RL is considered a local past time followed by pigeon fancying Whippet keepers from small mining towns with cobbled streets
