Quote ="TheButcher"I'm pretty sure every Chairman of a RL Club has other irons in the fire. Lenegan is a good example. Interests in London Broncos, Wigan, and Oxford UTD. As soon as Koukash announces something it must mean the death knell of everything Salford. I'm not sure whether to feel saddened by most people's limited understanding, or others strange obsession with him.'"
Ian L has no "interests" in the London Broncos......he wanted to, but the gibbons running the game wouldn't let him. As for Oxford...he owns a lot more than the local soccer club down there.
As for Koukash? good luck to the guy, but he needs to understand that it will take more than a couple of star players to turn Salford and his once great soccer club around overnight. Cronk, Slater and Smith at the Reds next year and he'd still struggle to get 7k averages...
