The Rugby League Heritage Centre, located in the basement of the George Hotel in Huddersfield, will be closing at the end of Sunday September 30th for the winter and will reopen sometime early in 2013.
To all those people who visited the place for the first time this year, we hope that you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again next year. To all those supporters who have still not been, reserve a day in your diary next year to come and have a look at our history and heritage.

I might try to chalk up a visit on Sunday before it hibernates for the winter.

Any reason why it closes down? Was hoping to visit at Christmas.

Probably because a lot of its visitors are away supporters during the RL season, when the Giants are at home. If visitor numbers are down, then there's no point in keeping it open - these things don't run on fresh air, sadly.
