Carney and Balding in the studio would be great. Think the priority should be sprucing up the in game commentary though and no potential replacements have stood out so far IMO.

Nothing wrong with Chappers doing the RL on BBC. He's been great when he's been in the studio this year. They've also got George Riley waiting in the wings. I'm sure he could do the job as well.

I mean there is very little RL on the Beeb nowadays anyway. I am sure they are trying to phase us out.

Personally, regarding Balding, she is probably the only interviewer that does their homework before going 'on air'.

No, it's just the way he comes across. Bit too 'chip on the shoulder' to balance out Campbell at times.
