He's obviously doing summat right financially then if they can generate so much cash...hope he shares his secret with other clubs in that case! Forgive me for sounding sceptical about such allegations.

he's taking a fulltime salary as CEO of oldham RLFC.....so he's making enough to give up accountancy....though his accounting skill ain't all that given we're up infront of HMRC every bloody year

Can I just point out this isn't even the same club that sold and left Watersheddings at the end of 1996.

It doesn't matter how good an acountant you are, if you dont have the income ( that is all guesswork for every club ) to cover your costs, you will end up with cash flow issues and ultimately HMRC at some point, and 5 K

It is all a balancing act, you should try it sometime
