They're probably be a lot mroe like this story if the commision is delayed again, not that the clubs would actually break away. We will probably see a fair few stories in the media trying to run our game down and downplay it's value as the TV negotiations draw closer.
Terrible journalism, totally made it up about clubs breaking away. The email was just a reply from the club on a document they had been sent by the NRL for comment on. Clubs would like more money, surprise, surprise, NRL says it can;t afford anymore till the tV deal is done.
