And thats why hes the stand out player at wigan because of the players around him, wigan as a whole is the real deal in superleague, but as before we big up players for the internationals and they end up always falling short, its something that sadly we have'nt learned to deal with in 20 years.

I take it you don't watch much NRL then. He has a nasty habit of attempting to prevent grounding by sliding in feet first.

Sam is a massive success over here now, and would be a massive success in the NRL aswel if he ever gave that a go.

As for RU.. I cant see Sam going to the darkside but I have no doubt he'd be pretty good at that too.

I don't actually think he would be that successful in Union, not because of Tomkins but because of Union. His running game would not be utilised in Union and would be reduced to a kicker as a stand off/scrum half in union. It's the same problem Eastmond will face.

I'm not to sure about that. He was wrapped up far to easily in his previous games against NZ & Australia, even at full back where you would think he'd have more space. I doubt they were even giving him any "special" attention either.

I have no opinion regarding Wigan or Tomkins....they are Champions and he is a Star player, but I have yet to see documented proof of these "MONIES" supplied to us by other clubs to keep us afloat. If you're gonna post crap, at least make it original crap eh



Whilst we're at it, you could argue that Wigans success is 100% down to Quins RL.......you did get out owner after all
