wow i leave teh nrl forum it goes quiet

i add to a thread here and my friends come back to life with multiple postings

shame they are all on ignore still

as ive said before ill repeat

appetitie for expansion will improve markedly for the nrl as the next 2 TV deals will see massive increases

right now the NRL is strapped for funds

when we have loads of money then the idea of a PNG team improves markedly

espeically if the PNG government support the bid as promised

today is has no chance but in the future has as much chance as a 2nd NZ team

ultimately the NRL will be a competition of 22 - 24 teams , maybe of 2 groups

the salary cap will be $10 - $15 million

and PNG have an excellent chance of being in that given their love of the sport

They didn't have a clue about the 'sport' and I maybe wrong but I didn't see it on their TV it was all NRL and Union. By the end of the morning I had them playing League (albeit with lineouts) much to his displeasure.
