Nothing wrong with local councils putting money into sports facilities that benefit the local community. Remember were Hull FC play.'"
Exactly! At last an FC fan who is not too short sighted to see this. As I understand it, this stand will also provide huge community links and facilities, so will be giving back to the community.
There is nothing wrong with the council investing in all of our representing sports teams, after all, they all advertise Hull as a City. When FC moved to the KC, I wasn't that short sighted and bitter, as to accuse the council of "diddling" the rate payers!
As for the rest of the thread, I'm assuming the OP started it as a bit of information for fans of other clubs, not to start a bitch fight over the pricing war between FC and KR. Most KR fans realise that our facilities for away fans are far from good enough! The important thing is, that the club are, year on year, delivering on the promises they made about ground improvements. Rome was not built in a day, but soon enough, away fans will have a wonderful stand to sit and watch the game in.
