I said this afternoon to my mate at work that if Matty Smith can lead Salford round the field to beat Saints then he'll be able to lead Saints around the field to beat Wire. Plus the pressure on Wire knowing this could be the last chance to beat Saints at Knowsley Road (they could still go back for 1 last try) will be huge for them.

This is the only point ever that I can claim to have called a game right! haha

I'm not sure about him actually playing considering his loan and now perm signing for Salford. I thought these loop holes had been closed after the 2005 Joey Johns and othe NRL short term signings

He was on loan to Salford from Saints therefore Saints can recall him as long as they can afford him and stay under the cap.

This is not the same as someone signing for 6 weeks at the end of the season.

He is still contracted to Saints until December 1st so he is still a Saints player.

It was so obvious throughout the entire game that he hadn't a clue, which is obviously why he was never really part of the Saints make up.

Deffo a bottler and not a very good kicker or organiser.

Saints should be applauded for off loading him.
