Admiral......there were one or two.......either that or one of the Quins fans had brought their dying donkey into the ground to make the numbers up......
Quote="V For Vendetta"I don't know about Vuvuzelas, but somebody had something that made a noise like a dying duck in the East stand at Wigan on Sunday.
There is a case for banning them in this country under Health and safety laws.
If the players or staff are subjected to noise levels in excess of 80dbs, then the company must perform a risk assessment, and the liklihood is that a ban would be the control measure.
haha, i dont know to be honest mate, but the issue they could hide behind was hearing damage to stewards and maybe players.
If you want to be really boring like me, check out the noise regulations on the HSE website.
Depends how loud they are, there is a calculation that can be done once there is a noise measure, but to be honest, if they tried to use it as en excuse, and it was proven, expect the premier league and the rest to follow should the HSE get wind of it.
I doubt that there would be enough noise though, maybe in a 30 000 packed stadium, with 3000 of them at the stoop its no more than what it seems like, a cheap publicity stunt.
