Inglis isn't typical of the average Rugby League centre. A head on collision of one player tackling another correctly, rarely results in serious injury. A nonsense of an article imo.

Using the new GPS equipment in the World Cup one collision measured 14g!
Generally collisions are more likely to be much lower.
This article doesn't present any evidence for any of the injuries being down to players being bigger. It would be interesting to see a proper in depth study.
