If a coach had geniunely wished injuries on players there would surely have been more of a fuss made about it and he would need to apologise/clarify his comments. That hasn't happened as most people have the intelligence to see it's bad luck/loss of form/confidence dip he is alluding to.

The word 'hopefully' was ill advised, it does look as though he is wishing injury on a player, something that should never be tolerated. I would never wish an injury on my most hated player, but I must admit I might have a sly giggle if Yeaman wrenched his neck next time he kissed his badge
