I do not post on here every time I am told of a problem at wakey. Though to you it may appear so. I became aware of the 'Otter' report because of posts by wakey fans (you may take it up with them). I would have thought the reports by the Coal Authority and Land Quality Planning are more of a concern but it seems in hand by Yorkcourt.

I think it would be great to have an otter sanctuary on the development. Better than endless warehouses.

Sadly there have been posts here and elsewhere suggesting that the otters are killed. I do hope this is in jest. While Wakefield city may need acres of warehousing and a new hotel it would be a shame to lose these animals. There may be usable sites in the wakefied area where no endangered species would be harmed.

How lovely it would be to forego some bland warehouses and have a scenic nature trail. It would add value for environmentally friendly RL supporters going to a game. Whereby a potential problem becomes an opportunity for TGG to show it is at the cutting edge on green issues.
