ER.......hang on a moment. Are you saying that the complaints about drunken and abusive Leigh fans were unfounded or are you saying that Drunken and foul mouthed behaviour is OK?
Sorry, but if fans were being abusive and/or swearing then they should be ejected.
I have read the threads connected to this and I am amazed that anyone would try to defend such behaviour......let alone come on the VT to do so

Having read the thread on lasttackle from the Gateshead fans it seems very much a case of making a mountain out of a mole hill with people not liking swearing.

I am one of the most foul mouthed people you will ever meet, but if I am in the presence or women or kids, I will (try to) curb my basic impulse to swear...it's not to difficult.....swearing at a ground, when we have laid our stall out as a family game is unacceptable.......sorry.

Funniest thing is that 4/5 of the stewards actually seeked out myself and a couple of mates after the game to thank us for our good humour, creating an electric atmosphere and all round impeccable behaviour! Can only assume that Gateshead aren't used to having a vocal away support visit their ground.
