I think its good to see a bit of biff and emotion in the game with the players, some of them hardly seem to care about the shirt but some certainly like to get there sleeves rolled up adn fight for everything.
Whilst i like to see a bit of biff and fighting on the pitch, i totally agree with any in the stands this is not a place where it should spread to.
I think a bit of a punch-up is okay, clears the air, but the major problem is the inconsistency of the disciplinary system; who you play for counts more than what you actually did. A prop for team X punches someone in a fight and gets 3 games, a prop for team A does same thing and gets off with nothing. We need a more transparent system, even if that does involve the RFL giving up some of its discretionary power over players and clubs.
