Sorry but that is complete rubbish. There is no such thing as a regional variation as far as Sky+ is concerned, they are just channels the same as any other. If you are having problems then it is a technical fault with your box and nothing to do with restrictions.

In fact I still have a copy of The Super League Show from 2006 and a Look North from 2007 on my Sky+, both recorded in London from BBC East Yorks, which both still work.

Wrong the superleague show will appear on sky channel 101 if you live in the following

North West
North East & Cum
Yorkshire
Yorkshire & Lincs

If you live in any other region and tune into channel 101 you will see some rubbish repeat you can then check the regional channels which are placed in the 900's and find a region that it being shown on

I was watching 101 in Durham absolutely definitely in NE and Cum and it was NOT on.

No doubt some smart @rse will now blame my Sky box.

You had better check you sky box to make sure you channel 101 is bbc NE
