Great to see the RFL ensure the games yesterday were in step with what really matters.........NO MENTION OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF VJ DAY and the sacrifice given........absolutely disgraceful.
Still, they ensured they kept their PC profile high with he BLM acknowledgement
Well done RFL , after all its not like the 75th Anniversary of VJ day is anything significant.......
Proves yet again, amateur organisation running a professional sport with no understanding of the real World.

Good.
I don't like the amount of time the armed forces gets in rugby league as it is. Carrying trophies, playing trumpets etc etc.
The sooner their is no military presence at games the better.

I saw an article that said 60% Britons don’t know what VJ Day is, which ties into many problems with a lack of proper overarching learning in schools.
Teach people the whole history and they will respect and remember it.

He’s right why the militarisation of sport, we gave heard a lot over the last few weeks saying “politics should be left out of sport”
Or is it just politics some people Don’t agree with. |

I’d say its you who as no understanding of the real world, harking back to things that happened in the past that you played no part in, rather than supporting real issues happenings now. People like you like going on about the War but seem to have no idea what we went to war for In the first place or know anything about what actually happened. |
