Are there any promo codes knocking about for Premier Sports? After last night I fancy getting back to watching the NRL, but not paying a full subscription as the rest of the channel is cack.

Embarrassing. How about support the channel and stop being so tight? It's hardly expensive for what you get.

What's tight about it? Just want to pay for what I want to watch - would you pay £100+ for full Sky package and not watch the movies, kids channels, documentaries etc? No you wouldn't, so why is this any different???

Why not just knock the TV on the head and watch it all online for free?

It's £12.99 a month and you are complaining it's too expensive and want a discount? FFS. No doubt Rugby League fans will be baffled when the channel goes under.

£13 a month for every NRL game live every week is awesome value. Throw in the other RL programmes likes backchat, Footy Show, Sterlo on the couch, Matty Johns show and you've got good RL content 7 days a week, with live games 5 of those days!!! Regardless of how rubbish the rest of their non-RL content is, nobody can say that it's not great value for money, particularly compared to Sky Sports (which we never see posts asking for promo codes about).

There's other ways to watch for free... droidbox being one. However, those sources can be hit and miss and not always reliable. I shelled out £99 way back in early October because I fancied watching the NRL Grand Final. Plus it's in HD these days.

£99 for around 200 live games of NRL, Origin, Tests is a bargain. Less than 50p a game. Compare that to what you pay for a Sky Sports subscription to watch an inferior Super League product twice a week or three times if Catalans are at home... WOW!

It's a no brainer.

I agree with the earlier poster on this thread. Quit being a tight-@rse and get yourself a subscription. I'd recommend the annual deal.

It wasn't a question of being a tight, it was more a question of seeing if there is a better deal out there somewhere before signing up - just doing what everyone does in every day life, look for the best deal for themselves, shopping around! Not saying at all the £100 isn't a great deal, but if you can get it for £70 or £80 then is it not worth looking for?

Or is everyone so full of themselves on here and not admit they'd do the same, and that they'd just pay the £100? If someone is selling a car for £10k and someone else the exact same thing for £8k - what would you do?
