Luckily just spotted this on Bulls wedsite or I might have missed the deadline waiting for next payday. I'm not sure this date is publicised as well as it might be. Its a much quicker turn around than usual I think.

I know that, it's just the jealous 10%.

Maybe Wakefield could do something along the same lines?

ive never understood why any stadium would have lots of empty spaces, surely giving away free tickets to primary schools would get kids going at an early age who would annoy there parents enough for them to take them and hopefully get them hooked so they pay every week.

That is what has annoyed me so much about the magic weekend - just giv free tickets to schools in cardiff/ediburgh to build up the atmosphere so there is 50k a day there rather than 30k

It is quicker. One big point of the Pledge deal was clearly to get the brass in a lot earlier, not least to give the club certainty. Suspect they may have misjudged slightly here though, since could be an issue for people who would renew after monthly payday? They'll read this, but might be worth dropping them a line?

AND...I must admit I'd pretty well forgotten that the Membership Card is also a points card, all year. Kept forgetting to use it. AND YET I got a tidy sum off my 2011 membership with it, even then!!! I'll admit I was Gobsmacked - this is a far more useful card than I'll admit I'd realised. Won't be making the same mistake next year, so its win-win.

So, for others who might have been similar to me: use it!!

Easiest way to check balance is to go buy 2011 membership - they should check it for you and tell you how much money they can knock off!

you should have a fivers worth of points on it automtically. when the club did the cheap entry, for I think the wire home game, they credited everyones teamcard with 500 points to stop any complaints from season ticket holders about not getting benefit from cheaper gate. ( although you may have only got the 500 points if you attended the wire game, not sure on that point tbh but I know I got them and I attended).

I always assumed the card would be reused - just updated for 2011 as it has a chip in it with all the info.

For next year there will be a spiffing new card with a new paintjob. - probably something "magic"

Well chuffed this week when renewing tickets at the Bulls office.
I normally dont value highly "loyalty points" on any scheme as they are usually pretty poor when converted to real £s.
We had spent on the cards a fair bit but to get a rebate of £40+ over our 2 cards was an unexpected surprise.
So that's £155 for a Premier Club ticket in the best seats at the ground and a private Bar. Bloody Hell! Surely this cant be matched by any other SL Club.
Another thing we like is that the in-ground car parking is still £50 for the season - thats £3.80 a match. I dont know of any other club that has this facility at that price, and its cheaper than parking in the Richard Dunne.

Overall an extaordinarily bold marketing exercise by the club that has obviously been well orchestrated and has got the success it deserves.
Thats stage 1 completed. I look forward to stage 2 on the playing/results side with considerably more confidence than I had at the end of this season.

I presume that the same marketing guys have some plans to continue the bradford bounce into, and during, next season.

Deffo check your card values, dont know about on-line but the girls in the office did it for us. They were snowed under with processing on-line ticket applications when we were there.

I've jsut checked, got £20 on mine! So that's a £40 season ticket. How mad.

I have 1500 points on my card. How much of a discount will that get me?

Cheers for that - I've checked and the club actually credited us 500 points for the Warrington game, as well the following home game against Hull - so that's an automatic £10's worth of points to all season ticket holders who attended both of those matches. Turns out we've got a combined £30 discount here - happy days.

There will be a new card, as I renewed yesterday I was told it would be mailed out later. The current card does have the year 2010 printed on it any way. I never thought about the points though. I just handed the card over so she could get my seat number on the computer and never even considered using the points to buy the seat. I guess she's put the extra points on the card, though like Adey, I've never even given the points much thought. I suppose they can be spent in the club shop? That'll make me happy enough!!

Just been down to renew ours. It's been a while since I have seen the office so busy with renewals at this point in the year - we had to queue. There definately seems to be a bit of a buzz around the place at the mo.

I honestly don't know, but I don't see any reason why not. I'm gonna pop up and try to spend mine at some point in the next couple of weeks, as I have £37 worth on my card.
