Pretty sure he's 1st choice at Bulls. Thought he'd be a good signing when it was announced.'" I had thought it would be between him and Ainscough to miss out when Briggs etc return, and that you'd probably go with Ainscough as Raynor is bound to slow down as injuries and age etc catch up with him. I guess we'll have to wait and see. It's a long, long, long season so it's worth having the cover I suppose. Finigan on the wing looked promising as well last year.

He's fast as well is that Finnegan. I reffed him when he played for Leeds Met and he made a break and left me for dead. Saying that he left everyone else for dead too! Im blaming the rain and a bad Headingley pitch (obviously he found the good parts)

What with the fantastic crowd and the emphatic win it wont be long before you get back to where you once were.

| Any win is a good win when you're bringing so many new faces and have had disruption in the halves like we've had. We played a some nice football in front of a good crowd against a spirited if very limited Wakey team.
A couple of posters have said we won every collision but I disagree. Whilst our scrambling defence was good and our goal line defence out wide showed strength our defensive line speed in the middle of the field was very poor. At times we more or less stood still while Korky got up to speed. Wakey's forwards were regularly poking their nose through the line. It's early days and signs are positive but if we are to challenge teams like Hudds next week we have to show more aggression and be quicker in defence against Crabtree, Griffin, Lunt etc.
Pleased though and to hear a good chorus of COYB was heart warming!!

i was stood by the 10m line on the pop side and his arm never looked like it touched the floor. His body wasn't moving so he is entitled to stretch the arm out?

| I didn't understand the last wakey try and must have switched off so if someone could set me straight please....
I thought wakey kicked the ball from their 40 and it went out on our 40 but they got feed at the scrum from which they scored. Why did they get the feed?

They took a kick at the 20m restart and got the feed at the scrum from that.

How about he didn't think it was a knock on?
Having just watched the highlights several times, if anyone is suspected of knocking it on (actually backwards) it's Ainscough. How Child is supposed to have a clear view of that is beyond me.

It's all done to the referees interpretation and if he thinks Koppy promoted the ball forward.

| I told one of my Bulls freinds when you signed Shad you wouldnt find anyone who would beat him for support play, he's just got that habbit every break he's there in support.
watched the super league show to check out his tries and as i thought before i watched it he's there in support for them.
3 in 4 for him now i beleive, i know you have full internationals over there but if he keeps scoring like this surely he will be in line to keep his place

It seemed to be obvious from that part of the ground (10m line pop side) that he twisted, held his arm off the ground and then put it down on the line. From most other views I'd imagine it looked like he was tackled then stretched out after.

One where it largely depends who you support. I think the ball defo brushes the floor well before he grounds it over the line, which is enough for double movement, but his momentum could well be down to the tacklers spinning him round.

| Well, watching it back on Wakey's own highlight vid, I'd say Koppy never actually stops moving as the ball carrying arm comes round in a sweep.
