as I say reducing the capacity would likely be the first thing on the list then look at minimum standards to maximise img points ie upgraded floodlights big screen, I’d personally look at doing something with touchdown bar and upgrade hospitality anything beyond that add things that would help bring in income

Cost of construction has also rocketed since Marc Green era and as we found out, he wasn’t great with numbers! Anyway, if the rumour is 15 million the true figure is probably 5 so I won’t be dreaming of a revamped Odsal anytime soon.

I would cautiously agree. But Odsal is going to need significant investment and has much greater construction challenges compared to somewhere like Belle Vue or Post Office RD.

Hopefully everyone involved has their eyes wide open and are not believing we can build a stand over the main terracing for 500k. It sounds like Hirst has some ideas, perhaps those will come with some compromises and the land utilised in other schemes to raise the capital to improve our own facilities.

As I say, I am interested to see what they have planned, but we've been let down too many times for me to believe it is finally happening this time.

I think owning the lease would definitely be a positive. At the moment I do believe the stock cars are the primary tenants which is why the pitch is so small and they leave it in the state it is.

If we're the lease holders we can make the pitch bigger and put in some ground rules for them keeping it as tidy as can be for starters.

The big question for me is who is paying this supposed £15million. I think some are getting ahead of themselves. Loved to be proved wrong but we've been here so many times it just seems fantasy stuff at the moment.

Probably and what is more depressing is that 15M would barely scratch the surface of what it would cost to make any sizeable changes at Odsal. ⁸

As a minimum, would it get us a tick in the “primacy of tenure” img box? Or do we have that already?

Also, if you want a laugh, look at the Halifax site, the thread on whether Halifax has a plan for Img as the last couple of pages is complaining about our score and guessing our finances.

They do seem quite obsessed by us.

Only positive that can come out of IMG scores for them is if Bradford miss out on a SL spot, I feel a bit sorry for them in all honesty.
