Hi
Thanks for your email, if you are referring to the block on the back of the shirt for the letters and numbers to go in we had to make those changes because of some new regulations from the rugby league and the replica shirts had already gone to production but that is the only difference in the design. If you are not happy we will be happy to discuss the matter with yourself. You can contact me on 01274 762327.

do they honestly think we cant tell the different way they slashes overlap? maybe the person at the bulls who checks the shirts is color blind. might explain the design as well

| Here goes:Could someone at the club explain why there are 3 different versions of the new home shirt?!
They are clearly different with the ones modelled by Le'strange and Nero far superior to the 1 modelled by Langley..
I look forward to your response as i and many more intend on buying the shirt if it is the better version!
Many thanks

| And the reply:
Hi
It’s quite easy to explain.
The ones worn by Heath and Chris are the same. The colour is only different because of the pic. In reality they are the same colour as Heath is showing. The one that we showed with Langley was the first sample.

| If it's a sample, why were replicas of it sold?
(And they WERE, because mine is the same style as Langley's)
I've always pre-ordered my shirts. After the Logitog debacle, I considered leaving it a bit in future, but decided to stick with it since it was just a freak occurence.
After this one and now essentially having what looks like a knock-off shirt (since the design is similar but not the same), I think in future, I'll avoid pre-ordering.

| And my reply again!!
Thanks for your reply Stuart.
But..If you look at the pics of the Le'strange shirt and the Nero shirt closely the stripes do overlap differently, i.e the black stripe on the Le'strange shirt runs under the red and amber stripe and on the Nero shirt it runs over the red and amber stripes, so they are different!
As for the Langley one i believe quite a few fans have bought this version already so there may be some compliants coming your way..
Again
Many thanks..

| I agree, what a farce.
I still have three of the Langley tops upstairs which Im going to exchange for the away shirt on the 23rd.
Maybe as I was talking with Mat in the pub last night, we may then buy the home shirt when it's all present and correct and we know just which version the players will be playing in.

| Stuart Duffy has now replied and admitted all 3 shirts are different. The Heath one is the replica and the Langley one is the sample!
He is looking into it but if i'd have bought the Langley one i'd be taking it back to exchange it with the Le'strange one! (or the Nero one)

It's took them this long, when I rang up, the girl in the shop said that I could just do a straight swop for the away one.

The problem for me with that, is I feel a bit like I'm robbing the club of the money, for something that's not a massive difference.
On one side, I want the correct shirt.
On the other, I don't want the club to have to give away a shirt for free and pretty much bin the other one.
At the moment I'm on the side of getting it swapped, but I feel bad about it. I suppose at the end of the day though, it's not my fault I've got the wrong shirt. Whoever's fault it is, should be the one footing the bill (whether that be the club or Kooga).

Spot on with how Im feeling at the minute as I want the club to make as much money as possible but two of the three shirts I have are presents and when they found out about all these indescrepancies with the home shirt, they just said "I'll have the red and balck away one".

| The original Heath pic is the Players fit where the design and all sponsors are PRINTED on to the shirt. ALL Replicas are stitched/embroiedered and always will be.
The Langley shirt is a replica.
Heath and the pics on T&A players mugshots are players fit.
The club and KooGa will never back down on this debate!

The shirt in the Langley pic is NOT a replica of the shirt in the Heath pic. The angle of the crosses and where the lines cross are entirely different. It is a similar, but different design. By very definition, it is not a replica.
Yes, the players fit don't have embroidery and have it all printed, but they should have the same design!
Incidentally, the replica shirt I have (which is the Langley design) has PRINTED "swishes" on. Therefore the look of those should be no difference whatsoever by your argument.

The Bulls signed a shirt deal with Logitog (I think it was the 2003 season). The away shirt (all black) was released, but there was a real problem with the supplies of the shirt. I managed to get one, but most didn't. The problems with getting shirts in continued for a month or two until the Bulls finally pulled the plug on the deal completely (I don't think they were the only ones who had problem with Logitog). They went on to make their own shirts for that season, home and away. That meant the ones that had been supplied and sold already were essentially the wrong shirt. There wasn't a massive difference, in fact it may just have been the Logitog logo (as they tried to keep the same black design when they made their own away shirts), but the fact remained, it was a different shirt really. To the Bulls' credit, they offered to swap any Logitog shirt for the "new" one, but I personally kept mine as I didn't want to cost the club £40 (or whatever the price was then) for the sake of a logo.
Most fans accepted that it wasn't the Bulls fault in any way, it was all down to the uselessness of Logitog. This year though, I'd like to know whether it's the club, Kooga or someone else who's responsible for the design changes, as it's not clear (especially when people keep denying it when it's clear to see).

You'll have to forgive me as I only have a players shirt in this design. I have not seen the replicas. But yes, from a manufacturing point of view, some of the main design would/could be printed.

That's better for you because you have a unique one as if I remember rightly the only difference was a website address where the logitog logo was.
BTW I don't think the Giants shops have their new merchandise in yet.

Do they have any old style vintage shirts? Like Darryl Powell or Bright Sodje used to wear?
