Is Kear back as he was named in the squad vs. Barrow? I always feel safer in both attack and defence with Kear at Fullback. Keep Millar on the wing where he actually plays.

Aye it will be. I’d personally try him at Fullback (dependingon his attacking skills) as I think Kear can finish a try well. Also I think he’s a touch faster than Kear so would be better at chasing folk down when they break the line.

I agree. He was overweight last year but allowances were made because he was apparently a late(ish) signing. No excuses for looking the same this year. Quite a let down really and he's not the only one that's out of shape although he stands out the most.

On the question of using him differently that poses some issues. He's only effective in short bursts and then he becomes a target in defence because of his lack of mobility. Same applies to Crossley but not as much. While they're on the field together we make more ground but after 15mins they need to come off. We then struggle for go-forward. The fact that these two can't do long minutes and Kibula and Scurr have been injured (two others that could do with shedding some flab) means we struggle.

I can't remember how many subs we're allowed this season - is it still 12? If it's come down to 10 then that's another issue. The game is going to get quicker and having overweight forwards is a big handicap.

Hey all, you won't have any issues winning on Sunday, London have improved in defence, but our attack is still clueless, and we only score from mistakes right now. So you won't need to score many to beat us, three tries would easily do it. But expect London to not make it easy for you, a score of something like 30-10 is more likely than a 50+ blow out

London do not communicate well (if at all), and there is a very good chance you will not be able just turn up and buy tickets, so I would recommend you buy your tickets prior to making the trip (even though stadium will be 90% empty for the game).

I'm disappointed with Walker because it's clearly a diet issue. He's big, strong, good leg drive, nice hands and has that little bit of SL prop speed. He's got everything to be the best prop in this division and Asiata made him look a mug.

I watched the Dewsbury Widnes game last night and none of the players were anywhere near as out of shape as some of our lot, so I just don't understand it at all. If Dewsbury can get their squad in decent shape why can't we?

TBF our fatties made Dewsbury look very average.

I disagree, I think they were competitive for large parts of that game the scoreline flattered Widnes a bit. They lost three players to injury, one of them within the first two minutes of the game.
Adam Lawton is absolutely huge, Widnes will do well to keep hold of him I think.

As will opposition defences

We are good at making unforced errors and our discipline is pretty awful at times so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a London victory.

I'm expecting a battle of which side is the most meh, and a London win of around 28-10.

I think we'll comfortably beat London, everything will be all OK again, and then we'll go and lose our crucial match against Batley and be 1 from 4 in the league.

Bulls 21 man squad includes Jordan Lilley, Elliot Hall and Samy Kibula. Brad England has been dropped and will feature for the reserves.

Looking like it could be the strongest 17 available so far this year. Coupled with a good rest and hopefully some motivation after losing the last two. No excuses this weekend against a london side who look even more vulnerable than us

Lose this and the knives will really start to come out. I expect us to win but we'll have to work hard to do it. My prediction is that we'll go into a lead, look comfortable then let some soft tries in as we start to take it easy and then start to get worried before the end. Result will be something like 32-24.

I've seen London a couple of times this year, they defend very well in the middle, have been more vulnerable out wide, but lack creativity going forward (their halves are very young). They've scored two tries in their last 3 games, one of which was an interception.
