i have just watched the highlights, and ithey are not just big forwards like Tahraoui, the transition from defence to attack was good with good support play. I fear the worst.

I backed the Bulls on the predictions but i honestly think Rochdale will beat us. Whether that's by 4 or 40 remains to be seen but we need a pack to lay the platform. We haven't got that at the moment. But I do hope the likes of Kirk, Bentley, Lumb, Wilkinson, Oakes and Ryan continue to impress and work hard and not let defeat put them down.

Wont be easy especially with Rochdale smashing Dewsbury last week, i agree with what some others have said along the lines of it doesn't matter who we catch, long as we catch them.

Didn't expect Rochdale to turn up and take Dewsbury apart caught a lot by surprise, hoping for a Bulls win but who knows.

If we turn up and keep creating chances like against Hull who are a much better team id have thought then anythings possible, a couple of quick scores might rock Rochdale and allows us a way to win, also depends what the conditions like, a physical game will get away from us need to keep a high tempo.

Gotta be honest, I'd like the game postponed. Rochdale, despite having a great game against Dewsbury, are one of those games we should be targeting at picking up points. Playing it now while we're desperately short of forward depth, we're likely to lose. If we play it later in the season, there's a chance we've picked up some more players and are more likely to get something out of it.

I agree. We have plenty of points in Ryan, Oakes and Macani. Lilley and Pryce is a very creative pairing.

Odsal is a much bigger and wider pitch than Rochdale. Get it out wide and i think we'll nick it. Get sucked into a forward battle as you say and we'll lose.

I suspect Dewsbury took them lightly and paid the price, I don't expect the Bulls to do the same but play with the same intensity and an improved defence this week! A win should be there and I'll take it by 1 if need be!

Have to say I don't fancy us. A bit too soon imo and we're still short handed in the pack. I agree with Bull Mania, and much as it goes against everything I've ever learnt about RL, maybe the best bet for us is to try and keep the ball wide and hope we have the class in the threequarters to put on some points.

If that forecast is correct the game must be in doubt. I seem to remember we had the same problems a few years ago when we played Catalan. We were all stood in the away end as that area had been cleared of ice and snow.

I think the Rochdale hammering of Dewsbury was a good wake-up call for us. We're now going into tomorrow expecting a tough one, and hopefully 2V has done his homework on the opposition.
I've gone for a Bulls win because we have one thing that Rochdale dont - the Bulls fans cheering the players on - we can add that extra player if we give it plenty of vocal; we need to make it fortress Odsal again - we want to spur our players on; majority of them acknowledged the Bulls vocals at the HKR match.

Just driven past Odsal.Light snow which isnt settling.So unless things change for the worse it looks like game on.Not sure whether thats a good or bad thing.We shall see.

Travelling over from Manchester for the game. No snow here. Hopefully the club make the call early so I know whether to travel across or make other plans. What's it like over in gods own county?

Just enough to lightly cover the car roof, maybe a couple of mm, but nothing seems to have settled on the ground around Tyersal, which is one of the higher bits around the edge of the city, though maybe not quite as high as Odsal. It's already back above freezing according to my weather clock.

I'm up near Queensbury, just a very light covering. If it's not too bad here it should be ok at Odsal

So onto the game then! I'd have to go with the same team as last week if I am honest. Even though I wanted Campbell to be our starting fullback this season Thomas did a good job last week and deserves to stay. I do think we will miss Caro and Keyes as I think both of these strengthen the team. But once again we are short on forwards. Even more so now that Walker has missed out on the squad.
