Can't say it's a surprise. Love the way they want to have another year to draw up ANOTHER plan that won't come to fruition.

I've never been against Valley Parade, but that's just a personal opinion. Odsal may be our home but we need to move forwards and Odsal appears no longer viable long term. Other clubs have moved from their spiritual homes and survived, granted to purpose built stadia in the main, but people will continue to watch and attend games if they are true supporters.

An interesting year is on the cards I feel as I don't think we've got the best relationship with Bradford City / VP's owners.

Nobody can surly be suprised by this anouncment Bradford council were never going to bring a scheme with vision off, they can't even fill a hole in the bl**dy city centre and as for thewaste of money pond don't get me started. It looks like its up to the club to sort out plan C,D or F or move to VP. I don't have a problem with moving to the Maningham stadium under the right terms, as equals giving us the sense of home and with a full size pitch to suit the RFL.

The weak link was always going to be the University and College. The Council's contribution is there sitting in the bank. Hindsight is wonderful but as many said at the time nirvana shouldn't have been the goal.

So many questions .....

Who's to blame - Council or College ? Tory's or Lib Dems ( Labour saying they'd deliver it for the Bulls but then they would, there are elections coming up !! ) ?

Richard Dunn's or revamp the stadium ?

Community facilities or a roof ?

Hood - winked or insanely naive ?

I imagine after some of the spats in the local press comments section with the followers of another local team there will be an awful amount of schadenfraude this morning. I see it has begun already

If the club had to move to VP (looks like that will be the only other option now if the club is to stay in Bradford), anyone know where the 7-figure sum to be repaid to the council for leaving Odsal early will come from?

Totally effing disastrous news. Even if maybe not as big a surprise as it ought to be.

........ there's a whole new round of consultancy, new plans, approvals and dates of completion to go through yet man. You've just got to negotiate your way through the early stages of negativity and blame apportionment before the whole "Odsal redevelopment industry" begins again.

One thing's for sure - someone's making a lot of money out of the whole debacle.
