Ok I asked for that.
The reason I asked the initial question of where the info came from though was that there's a spoof twitter account doing the round for Toronto, announcing various player recruitment as signed and sealed, including James Laithwaite and Richard Whiting, which some are taking as the real deal. When actually the official Toronto website and Twitter has only announced Liam Kay and Craig Hall as far as I've seen.

Yeah I realised afterwards that it isn't the official twitter account of the club. However, it's not a 'spoof' account, it's clearly run by somebody affiliated with the club, and the official account even links to it on their page. Fleming and Crossley were both linked to be making the move to Toronto earlier in the season so it wasn't much of a surprise to see their names on the list.
I guess time will tell just how accurate the list of players turns out to be.

I suspect the list will be almost spot on. As you say, the players mentioned have all been linked with the club anyway. It's either announcing things too early, or it's guessing based on rumours, MG style.

Phil Caplan's exact words were "you do wonder about the financial position of the Bulls".
The club should make sure Yorkshire radio get a letter from their solicitors and they are banned from the ground.
I'd have BBC, BCB and T&A in too for a reminder of what acceptable journalistic standards are.

| Yorkshire Radio have a lot to answer for. It was their initial report that started the administration hysteria.
I don't listen to Yorkshire radio at all so I don't know what angle they approached this. I once listened to coverage of Wakefield v Bradford and the commentary was so wakey biased that I've not switched it on since.

I don't mind yorkshire radio. They give a lot to the sport. Most games covered (rather than bbc Leeds which flicks back and fourth between games) and they have a really good 2 hour program on a Monday at 6. It's a really good show IMO
However if I was the Bulls I would be tempted to take legal action against yorkshire radio for that tweet. The ramifications for stuff like that are HUGE. we're trying to rebuild the club and yes we've had a massive set back with not making top 4. But putting a tweet that we're 48 hours away from administration for third time is quite frankly appalling..Firstly from a business point of view. How must sponsors feel seeing that tweet. Secondly imagine if you're employed by the club or a partner of a player and you saw that tweet. Poor stuff. Was their source Mick Gledhill? Who gave me a chuckle when we was condeming the media for putting scaremongering stories on social media. Irony.

If Mark Green says your squad is finished for next year I would be worried. It will be the same as the last 3 years, poor retention of good players and recruitment of championship cast offs. You will be called the Bradford Broncos next year! you have signed a lot of players not required in London (two more to be announced) All nice lads but average Championship players. What does this tell you? Very sad times at Odsal, weaker next year than this unfortunately.

Looking at who we know is signed on after this season, there HAS to be some forwards unannounced. Whether those are from the current squad whose contracts have been renewed or new signings remains to be seen. Also not taking into account any players who may be signed up for next season, but may not be here anyway.

Absolutely Bullseye. It's been standard policy for some time to, 'drip feed', the news over the the off season - can't see why this time round would be any different, tbh.
Well, any other reason apart the fact that, in the absence of the club, social media tends to do the announcing, of course - then again, I guess this only serves to ramp up the excitement whilst we wait for, 'official', confirmation!

| I personally think now would be a good time to make a positive squad announcement regarding next season. If Pryce has signed, get it announced. If one of our other decent players is staying, get it announced.
People need some good news (other than Green's statement which is something of a mixed bag) and showing that Player X has signed on for next year would also help prop up the idea that we're going to be running with a decent full time squad.

The Pryce announcement will surely be held back until the season ticket drive (officially) starts. I'd certainly get all of the departure announcements out of the way asap though.

That too. But I think something positive needs to be put out. Especially if it really is all done and dusted as Mr. Green suggests.
Yes, most of us will see some of those players leaving as positives, but it would be a welcome boost to hear another someone people actually rate WILL be here next season, rather than just those that people don't rate not being here.

I'm hoping most come from down under. Smith has got two gems in Moss & Chisholm. I don't think there will be a raft of new faces as a lot are still contracted for next year.
Not going to lie, signing yet more average Broncos players isn't filling me with joy. Macani is just another Matty Blythe. Strong, powerful, but no skill. He's not better than what we have so why sign him. That should message should be printed and put up in all the offices in the club. "Before you sign him, is he better than what we have" I don't want another average Joe being paid a wage to hardly play or if we does play, i put my head in my hands and hope we pulls something in the warm up (Like most do with Matty Blythe, Danny Addy, Richie Mathers)
I'd rather see Ross Oakes or Josh Ricketts play before an Illiess Macani

Add Joe Keyes 2018 into that.
And I'm 99% sure Mitch Clark is leaving this season. I believe it was either misreported as a two year deal, or he has a clause to allow him to leave for Super League.
Other than that, it's the same list I have.

| Good point, forgotten about Keyes.
Clark was reported as on a 2 year deal. I guess he must have a release clause. If not then we should ask for a decent fee since he's our most impressive forward this year.
Leon Pryce not yet added despite all the rumours which I will now take with a pinch of salt.

| We basically need forwards generally, but props specifically. The creative spine of the team - AoB, Chisholm, Leon (strongly linked) and Moss I am very pleased with. This is a better position than we have been in the last 2yrs from a squad point of view.
