| That pretty much was the case because of the different caps, but I'm far from sure it still applies. Unlike previous years, the relegated club is allowed to spend the same amount in either division, assuming they can afford it, so it much depends on their projected income for next year. They have a wealthy backer, so their biggest unknown [I assume it actually is an unknown? is how much he wants to put in next season.

Well a rumour I have heard, and for which I have no actual evidence whatsoever, is that Hudgell was considering walking if KR went down. So yes, there is potentially a great deal of uncertainty about exactly what will happen at the dobbins next season.

| I certainly wouldn't class Hudgell as a benefactor in the same vein as Koukash, Davy, Beaumont etc.
Probably somewhere in between Marc Green and those lot.

| I would love to see Donaldson back at the Bulls ahead of Addy! Realise there is zero chance of it happening though.
If we had the chance to keep Clark or Addy then we should be trying our best to sort it out asap.

| With the correct motivation, Mitch Clark could be a very good player. I do feel though that his game has gone downhill since the rumours started that he'd signed for KR. Early season, he was outstanding. Later on? Been a bit more anonymous.
Danny Addy has done a good job for us for a lot of years. He's done whatever needed to be done of him without complaint. I'm pretty sure he's played every position for us except fullback & wing. But I've always felt him to be a bit of a "jack of all trades, master of none" and I think he needs to move on to get some ooomph back into him. Him staying at Bradford would be bad for our club and for him personally IMO.
If their contracts are null and void now though, I wonder if them playing tomorrow might be a blessing for us. They may be back in the shop window now and needing to impress someone.

| According to today's T&A we are interested in re-signing both with Hull KR remaining interested. Wakefield are now interested in Addy.
It depends on how we are set for next season and in terms of cash too. If there are no sl offers on the table I would be confident we could persuade one of more to stay.

| Keep them both, and don't worry about us at Kr. We are letting to about 8 players by the look of it hut in those are Kelly and campuses, larroyer boybedza. So we will have a few quid to sign players. Looks like Scott prince is coming out of retirement to play for us for a season. Under tim sheen. And we have kept lung and told the core of our team will be here. Yes it will be tough in the championship but if we can keep the pace with the likes of you, Featherstone Batley London we should be ok

Hugell and Rob Crossland, but as far as we understand they don't put huge lumps into he club, they guarantee the debt, so in effect so long as the club pay any interest etc it's in no danger of folding. We also have a brand new stand with top class function facilities used outside of RL, so this will be more likely to give us an edge financially.

| Story on Bulls website about Kavanagh getting call up to Scotland squad includes the paragraph:
Quote The former Widnes Vikings forward has 11 caps for the Bravehearts and is joined in the 24-man squad by Dale Ferguson and Danny Addy, who are both set for moves away from the Bulls. '"
So doesn't look like Addy will be staying.

| What we expected, I guess. Both can play SL standard and both will do well imo.
As said before, I feel, for his own personal development, Danny Addy needs to get away from the Bulls and into a new environment - one where he can play in his best position [wherever that is judged to be and not be a Jack of all trades, as he's been used at the Bulls. I think he's been an absolute hero sticking his hand up and doing everything he's been asked to do, but he probably needs to be a bit more selfish now.

| I'm not convinced either would stand out if playing in SL. But if they're off to KR then they won't need to worry about that, for next season at the least

| Nick Scruton has been signed up by Hull KR. Perhaps they've gone back on their deal to sign Clark and Addy as you would have thought they would have announced the deals by now? Unless they are saving the announcement for a season launch kind of event like we did with some of our signings.
