Massive set from Bradford sees Purtell break down to the left. On the last tackle Kearney passes to Gale who attempts an inside pass. Stupid play from Gale who has been poor today. Widnes ball. Widnes play the set out and the game finishes. Poor first half and bad decisions from Gale has cost us today.

I sometimes wonder if BCB commentators realise their listeners can't actually see what is happening on the pitch.

Sounds to be a decent effort from the Bulls but probably just lack some quality right now. Desperately hope for some good news this week on the recruitment front. Certainly need some experience in this squad as well, just loaning youngsters won't keep us up this year. How long left until Gaskell is fit, I think him returning will be a big boost to our attack.

Close but ultimately another loss. And another game down. We need some more players. We need to start winning. Soon.

While effort and character maybe on show again today, we needed the points with the games coming up.

I know it's hard to hear on the radio but apart from the kear try what did Gale actually do. I don't think we forced one repeat set or drop out and towards the hand he threw TWO forward passes. He needs to start doing more. Games like that is when he has to earn his money.

Some players need to realise that an average effort in a game in no good at the moment, they need to put 130% into every game no matter how tired they are.

FWIW, you couldn't fault your lads' effort or commitment today. Dead and buried at 0-16 but some dumb play by us and good stuff from you turned the game. Thought we just shaded it, but on another day, you could have got something from the game. Best wishes for the rest of the season and I hope you stay up.

Always lacking in their 20 no ideas and we really struggled at times, I think our time is quickly running out to survive, Nas has really gone backwards and I think we improved a great deal when mullaly came on to replace him, he falls off tackles to easy and his go forward doesn't really.

It's easier to create off the back off a pack going forward and we aren't a lot of the time.

We're missing Sidlow and one other prop.
