But like you say this is not the last minute. How much do you recon it would take to buy the club out of liquidation or do you not think it will get that far?

If the administrator has to get best value for creditors, then surely the only asset value post liquidation is the physical costs of selling parts of the ground that the bulls still own as the players value will be zero when liquidated as the club will not own them.

Just thought of one thing that made me smile about the Bulls today - hope the new regime don't try and sign up a certain well respected Assistant Coach from a club west of the pennines - hopefully cost us less than £627k!!!

If Nobby comes in I think he will be fine. I would expect that the vast majority of fans will not bear any grudges against him, ok, many, and I for one, think it's not the best way for him to come back to the club, but he's a Bradford legend and loves the club.

Not if they've been made redundant. It happened to me I had to work for two months without salary and pay for petrol in people's vans off my own credit card. When the old/new owners bought the business I was given it back.

I heard one of his family members (brother?) was approched to take over, had a look at the books and didn't fancy it.

If Noble comes back he will HAVE to earn the respect of the players and the fans. Yes he is a Bradford legend and will get respect for that but this year has been based on respect for Potter and loyalty for the club. Noble must earn the lost respect and it will be extremely tough for him.

So the administrator is meeting the players tomorrow. No doubt they'll make most of the top paid players redundant (probably the ones that are injured/old/nearly out of contract) and keep the bare minimum to get through the season. Then apparently Nobby is coming in to coach for free.

They said that we were losing 100k a month so if they reduce wages by that amount they will be able to break even and carry on - with debts cleared by admin and caisley coming in and taking full control for a bargain price.

Only thing is, the players are gonna lose all motivation as their mates will have lost their jobs. And who's going to sign for us in the future?!

Unfortunatly it was something we clearly couldn't afford with the way our income wasn't meeting expenditure. Feel terrible for the players and staff but if we can't afford it we can't afford it.

The whole mess from start to finish is embarrassing to both the Bulls and the sport of RL. Looks like even the RFL are now been kept in the dark as to what is really going on behind the scenes!

i feel for all the staff that have gone, and would expect afew of the older/injured/OOC contracts players to be gone tomorrow.

Mick, the players and staff are the only ones who've conducted themselves with any professionalism . Gutted for them, hope they find employment soon
