| Purtell and Blythe should not be in the 17 next week. Both were dropping off tackles which we can't afford to have happen against SL opposition. I'd bring Nielsen in for Purtell and Walshaw in for Blythe.
Other than that I'd leave the side unchanged unless Mullaney is crocked again.

| A very good performance I thought.
We were profligate at times but we certainly didn't lack for ideas or enthusiasm.
I think we should hold fire on Mullaney's injury, given the fact he jogged off the pitch, it may just be a precautionary measure given he might not be 100% and given that the game was won at that point, it was sensible to rest him for next week.

This. The game was won when we took him off so hopefully just precautionary.

| Purtell to make way for nielsen imo. Henry might be weak defensively but offers a bit more in attack. Mullaney looked like a precaution rather than an actual injury.

| Enjoyed the match. Good defence when Sheffield started firing with their big guns. Our forwards faced them brilliantly, which meant they could not get any real momentum.
A really controlled performance. I thought Henry did ok, Gaskell is a seriously good player, with "Danger" in there thats a terrific back line we have.
Onwards then full of confidence.
There No. 11 is a bit punch happy though ... not sure why the officials did not deal with that.

| Good performance. The main thing was that we looked fit and fresh, vindicating Lowes decision to ease off for the last few games. I was surprised we didn't use the opportunity to give Luauki the final 10 mins unless he was injured. Not sure we can carry a player who only contributes 15 mins.
Has Lowes explained the rationale for two interchanges in the first 5 mins of the second half? I remember Noble was keen on making interchanges in the last few mins of the first half, arguing that was when they were most needed. But why just after the half time break, unless they were injured?
Good to see us topping the table!

| Purtell did enough to keep his place for me, his quick hands to put Williams in for one of his tries was very classy. He's a leader in our team and is less prone to errors than Henry and is the safer bet in my opinion. That being said I thought Henry had a decent game so it will be tough on him if he misses out to bring in Nielsen.
Our back row looks exceptionally strong and I think they all had fantastic games. Ryan got through a ton of work and has probably played himself into a spot to face his old club.
Wakefield away is going to require another big step up in intensity but I'm satisfied with what I saw today. Brian Smith it appears is whinging about the refs again this week so I hope we get a decent official for this match who won't be easily influenced by the vocal Wakefield crowd. My money is on Joe Cobb though!!

| Happy with today near 80min performance which we haven't seen on ages, few errors and penalties which helped glad we kept our heads with some of the hard hits that where coming in, hopefully no injury concerns will be good.
Difficult to pick next week's team as wakey seem like no mugs and ran Salford close, we get a win and we are nearly there I think reckon 8-10pts will secure
promotion,
Also thought the red had a very good game today let them get on with it and didn't fall for play acting at the ptbs which was nice, group near me who didnt seem happy with anything he did but I was pleased for one, much better than some of the dross we've had this year that's for certain

| Very good professional performance. If the team plays to it's potential next week, we win IMHO. I thought the attacking play between Gaskell, Mullaney, Addy (who had his best game) was great to watch. All our forwards gave us good go forward. We have to step up again next week, but Wakey will be under huge pressure! If they lose next week, they're gone IMHO They will throw everything at us next week so we need to be ready to fight fire with fire.
Glad to have come awya with no injuries as Sheffield certainly came with some rough house tactics. Thought we kept our discipline well.
Absolute HUGE game next week.

I think Addy played better because he knew he had Gaskell along side him, meaning he wasn't the one responsible for getting the team round the park. Therefore, he could relax and play with confidence.
But going forward, every week is going to be a test for Lowes and his team and the question that is hanging over the team is can they do this every week as week to week consistency has not figured highly in Bradford's season so far

| I think there is definitely something in the theory that Danny Addy has been guilty of trying too hard to create something that wasn't on. He did well today though and we looked dangerous with Mullaney at FB and LG and DA in the halves. Not having Shaw for goal kicking might cost us a couple of conversions but if Mullaney makes a try saving tackle like he did today each game then we aren't really dropping valuable points.

| Mullaney got a knee at the base of his back bringing ball out of the in goal. When is a double movement not a double movement when it's in the field of play.

| Much improved performance when compared to the final 5 games of the regular season. We really stepped it up a notch today against a decent Sheffield team. Very good attendance as well.
As for next week I'd go with the exact same team, barring any injury issues. Perhaps have Nielsen on the bench instead of Blythe.

| It was obvious Gaskell would get MOM today for his 3 tries but I though Addy was the main man today. There aren't many scrum halves that tackle and drive the ball in as often as he does.
Purtell was class at times. His role was clearly to give Williams as much ball and space as possible. Some of his short passing and interchanging, especially with Gaskell, was a joy to watch. Do people seriously think that he should be dropped?

| Not sure which of Purtell or Henry should give way for Neilson, both played well today. Thought Ryan had a great debut. I think if AOB had held into that chance just before half time we'd have scored 60, hope we don't regret it. Next week is massive for both clubs. Whatever score it is hope Brian Smith gets the ovation he deserves from the Bulls fans, who will possibly outnumber the home fans

| In all probability that was our easiest of the games so I am not getting too carried away. I thought we looked vastly superior to Eagles and ,indeed, to anything we've done recently. There is a lot of experience and sufficient quality to have an impact on the future games and I feel it's very much in our hands. I've never doubted the capability of the forwards and Ryan looks a good addition to that. I'm not completely convinced by the backs yet although that's probably in the centres .....looking forward to seeing what impact Neilson has. We probably had a couple of spare gears yesterday and we will need them. Most importantly we kept at it and didn't rise to the usual provocation. Special mention for Danny Addy who has really impressed me recently ..... are there any position he couldn't play and shine.

| Ironically, I thought Henry had his best game I can remember yesterday, but I still suspect he'll be the one to make way for Dane Neilson. Oh what joy to have such problems!

| Henry and Purtell have very different styles. Henry gets the ball and runs like a man on hot coals whereas Purtell has some slick hands and creates space for his winger. It depends what you want out of a centre. I think Purtell is a class above Henry but some people seem to judge players on how hard and fast they run. Nice problem to have indeed but it's also a possibility that they are both better than Nielsen.

Absolutely. As far as anyone was concerned, this was a must-win and I am sure that it had been pencilled in as a nailed-on two points.
It was a "hiding to nothing game". Win, and we were expected to, lose and the season could pretty much have been over.
Obviously I did not see the game but the views on here are encouraging. At least I will see us v Wakefield next weekend then I am down for the home game v Salford in a fortnight.

| Massive game next week and already I'm nervous about it. It's the indicator as to exactly where we are as a team and could be season defining. I'm more nervous about it than any of the finals that I've seen the Bulls play in.

| It is an important game next week. However we do have 2 home games against SL opposition and they should be equally telling. We should have a good idea of where we are that when we complete that and losing at Wakey is not season defining. Who would have thought Fax would get so close to Widnes
