I thought the same hen I read the article and by looking at other things that have been mentioned, if we are seriously looking at signing a overseas who hasn't really played for 2-3Yrs, has a terrible injury record and seems like they don't want to leave, I would really question our player aspirations.

Instead of trying to guess the identities of potential signings shall we see if we can guess the identity of the person who works at the club who appears to tell lots of different people who the players are, but crucially, swears them to message board silence, upon pain of not getting more privileged info. Presumably he/she prowls these boards to check who maybe betraying their little trifles.

He strikes me as someone who took up RL about 6 months ago. Plenty of natural ability but his skills are shocking. I've said before that he will not make a top level SL player as long as I have a hole in my harris. He has improved marginally but at 23, or whatever, he is miles off the required standard. It's a toss up who will retire first without ever developing the required RL skills - Gelling or that big, daft Welsh ex-yawnion bloke with stupid hair.

I have been told by a very good source that we are signing *********** who I can tell you has played in the NRL. However I cannot betray my source. So I post this information so that you know that I know; when they do sign, I will be able to say "Yes, that's the guy, I told you I knew". Or if by some chance we don't sign someone who has played in the NRL then it won't be because my information was wrong, it will be because the deal fell through. And because i never named the player, you won't have any way of checking.

I don't mind the rumors, as a supporter it actually excites me that we are still looking for decent players. Fair enough, 9 out of 10 might be 'Joe Tamani' specials, but your always wondering if the next rumor is genuine.

Few have come good so far, I think the Gaskell was mentioned before announced. Carvell was mentioned before the press release, so not all the rumors are false
