Did you all have your eyes shut when Menzies Knocked on for your try???
To be fair, i thought the best team lost today, but some of the posters on here are nearing wigoons unsporting standards and really need to take their heads out of their a$$es and remove their red-amber-black tinted glasses. Yes the ref gave some abysmal calls today, but they most certainly were "Not" all in the favour of One team.
It seems that when a ref makes a bad call, (the turn over when it clearly should have been 6 more tackles to you), he deems, (or has been instructed), that he should equal it out with another bad call, (morleys moving from the mark decision). We seem to see this week in week out in Superleague and yet nothing is ever done about it and until something is, it will continue to spoil the game for the paying fans! In my opinion this will continue and indeed get a whole lot worse for as long as we have the spineless match official director that is Stuart Cummings, the bloke is a joke and is quite obviously not capable, or more worryingly, "willing", to clamping down on the poor officiating that we as paying fans are forced to put up with, week in week out!!!

Top of head:
- Morley penalised for playing ball off the mark, although he was flung there (no advantage was gained from this by Wire)
- The Sheriffe try that included a knock-on from Beavers fingertips - never went backwards in a month of Sundays
- How Sykes stayed on the pitch after grappling Hicks round the head and throwing him through the air by his neck I'll never know.
Fair play Bradford, you play some very quick flat passes at play the balls onto your big runners, gain you lots of yards, but they're bloody marginal to say the least. A tougher ref would have pulled you for some of those but them's the breaks - its just that the forward pass we got away with led to a try. I think he was evening things up there after the Sheriffe effort personally.
That was a patched up Wire 17 too by the way - missing Myler, Carvell, Clarke, Wood, Louis Anderson.
Sorry to see the poor turnout though - what the hell's going on there? Where was the crowd? Hope young Donaldson gets well quickly, sorry for the lad. Best of luck with rest of season.

If your talking about head highs what about Donaldsons head being taken off on one of the Bulls breaks??
Ok then, I missed them, but there were some that went against Wire. The worst ones were against Bradford though, and the most obviously wrong calls.
Ours was patched up too - Without Langley, Kearney, Reardon & Crookes. Working with a half fit captain and playmaker too.
The crowd was so low I think because everyone was predicting a wire win, it wasn't a particularly nice day and we had key players out (yes I know you did too).

| I think the guys can be proud of their efforts today, to keep within 4 points of Wire - when most were expecting another walkover - is a superb effort.
I'm still confident that, providing we can keep everyone fit at the business end of the season, if we make it to the playoffs we can give anyone a decent game and maybe even pull of a surprise win here or there!
Next week's game is MASSIVE.

Quoted the players missing as I was reading your fans making a lot of your key players missing - I wouldn't have mentioned it ordinarily but thought I should throw it out there.
Have to disagree - thought he was abominable to both teams across the board. The guy's a joke.

| We were badly disrupted by losing the country's best young forward to Aus (Burgess), we have the worst second row in SL (Worrincy), the worst winger (Sheriffe), the worst coach (McNamara), the worst stand-in-winger (Platt), a half-fit scrum-half reportedly unsettled and wanting away (Orford), our best attacking player missing (Kearney), our stand-out forward missing (Langley), one of our main pack signings yet to pull on a shirt (Sculthorpe).
Star-studded Warrington OTOH are the ultimate RL force. of 2010. They have all the money, they have made all the signings. They have the northern hemisphere's top coach. Their revered pack are monsters. They have pace to burn everywhere. They were going to pager us stupid (as were Leeds).
Given these known facts - how the hell do we manage to get pipped by one score in a titanic tussle? Anyone got the number for Mulder and Scully, because it couldn't happen, that, could it?

And its a fair call.
Same as we had last week, with Leeds, and the 87-page thread revolving around whose missing players made the most difference.
I's submit the same argument again; the one that Sadler made that so many from Leeds (and the odd supposed bull) derided through partisan specs: with a thinner squad than most, spending less than most, and with key players missing, and especially with some aspects of the squad known to be weak anyway, we are probably disproportionately affected. No disrespect to Wire there - had you had all your players fit you would surely have blown us away? And had we had all our injured players fit - especially Kearney and Langley, both of whom we are missing summat rotten - then we surely would have taken it?

| Well we didn't have an overlap, it's easy to say it was the wrong decision when it didn't result in a try, hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Don't get why Orford threw a nothing pass in the last few seconds though. A bomb was surely the way to go.

| So proud of ALL the lads today, really determined performance, just a shame we didn't get the result we deserved.
Silverwood was awful as expected so no suprise there, though I feel a couple of decisions we got were also questionable.
I also had the pleasure of some Warrington scum swearing at us in car park, followed by further abuse from fans in the traffic, they really are a classy bunch.

They are. V-signs from a group of young "adults" all through the game, wnaker signs when we scored. Absolute charmers.
I bet the true Wire fans can't wait til the bubble burst and that lot get bored and find something else to do.

Incompetence or cheating. Whichever doesn't matter the club need to put in a complaint about Silverwood and board members need to make strong representations to the RFL who should ensure he never refs a Bulls match ever again.

| Also, Well done to the lad who was being goaded by a group of Warrington fans. He reacted at first, they started pushing him and slapping him on the back and he and his mates walked off. Good on you for being the bigger man, no need for Wire fans to cause trouble especially when they've won.

If we'd have scored a try from a forward pass, won the penalty count ridiculously and had a momentum changing decision in our own 20 to help us then i'm sure you'd be moaning.

Nope given the fact you were given a prize chance to score twice in the last 2 mins but failed
What about the Bradford tries? Nero's looked forward on the replay from Orford and there looked a knock on another one.

Nero's was never forward, yours was blatant.
Sheriffe's try could have gone either way but the player (I think it was Menzies) was moving forward and the ball bounced where he was originally stood. Momentum rule and all that $hite means it wasn't a knock on.

| What the f did Sykes do? Nothing worth a sending off that's for sure.
Menzies didn't touch it. Warrington scored from a forward pass. Fact - read the match reports.
Morley should have played the ball from the mark instead of rolling around like a muppet. Noone threw him. He was trying to be clever.
