With that, I think some of you need to reserve judgement of the calibre of our players.

I know exactly what level we are at thank you.

However, i am confident we will be challenging again in the future - success cannot be sustained for such a long amount of time.

I also know you will not be and hopefully not given franchise - I am 99% confident we will be.

I have no problem with any SL club, good friends at most but Wakefield fans all seem to have a chip on their shoulder.

Wow after how many rounds? Think its a bit early to be getting all exited, it will be interesting if you can sustain this level for the whole season.

I think its pretty clear to see thats after 7/8 games, its in black and white.
Can you not understand or appreciate that you are not the force you once were, and that you have an average squad now? It will be interesting to see whether we sustain it for the remainder of the season, i agree....but I think 8th is realistic, even with our average squad

I think you need to understand that our team has probably got the best ethic in years, and despite what you think, it counts for something. Im not excited, im pretty realistic, it seems to be you who is getting excited after winning on Friday, perhaps that means your world beaters?

1) How do YOU know? and then backtrack and say (Quote) "and hopefully not"(End quote).

2) Do you want a 4/5 team league then, i.e. Wigan, FC, Huddersfield, Leeds, Les Cats. And then them with inferior facilities, i.e Wakefield, Saints and Bradford, languishing in some comp that even the local press have little interest in. Bearing in mind most of the clubs I mention do not even own their own ground.

3) Your confidence springs from where exactly?

it will be funnier for you to maintain this form , i would buy into the "We are only so many games in" argument but so many of you wanted McBanana sacking last week so it must matter at this stage .

We just beat the back to back champions, something you have already failed to do this season. Yes, we have had our worst start in SL, but we are improving. We had a bad start in 2005 and people were writing us off, but we finished 3rd & won the GF. Stop getting carried away, you're yet to win anything in the SL era.

Come and say all this when you have some real success in the SL era.

You really are making an of yourself, you need to learn how to read and take comments in. You seem to have this pre-built trait of thinking attack is the best form of defence, in your case its not working. I am not getting excited, AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED. When has anyone ever said Martin is a better player than Menzies you oaf - however Martin is a better centre because stunningly that is his position, what part of this don't you understand. Menzies has always been a S/R occasionally a lock - 100+ games as a centre, give your silly head a shake. Menzies has played 250 games for the Sea Eagles, are you really suugesting a hundred of those OVER A THIRD of his career total were at centre.





His actual stats suggest he has played the vast majority at S/R, occasionally as a centre and a S/O when coming off the bench as a utility player late in his career.

So Ben Jeffries and top try scorer Tadulala aren't your better players, beggars belief that you haven't won the title already if there not. Honest to god your the dumbest poster ever.

On Saturday I spoke to a certain academy full back who was told that he was 50/50 to get a run out on Monday.

Why does Steve Mac continue to play Platt? He had a good start to his first season for you lot but he has been nothing but a liability since. You have an amazing prospect dicking around in the reserves, such a waste.

No Ben Jeffries isn't one of our better players, everybody here will till you he's been terribly inconsistent and far from one of our better players, Semi yes I dont deny that, that's why I didn't mention him and instead mentioned Sol, who youve now changed to Semi.

Doesnt matter what macca told hyde it wont happen, yes hyde is better than platt, but at academy level, crossley has been told 3 times he will be in 19 man squad, but hasnt, hes good at telling players one thing, then not doing owt about it, dont think hyde is ready yet..maybe give him agme against celtic/salford etc, or maybe further down track if we dont make play offs when no pressure on him..at mo we need to get some confidence and consistency then maybe it will rub off.

I'd love to see Kieran Hyde get a run out, but not at the expense of two players that played well on Friday evening. Dave Halley and Rick Sheiffe deserve to retain their places in the starting line up. If Macca wants to put the youngster on the bench in place of Platt then I would have no objections to that.

I fair bet Halley will get a brilliant reception before the whistle, then I'm afraid it will be gloves off, its been noted how light he is and can be forced back in the full back position and we know how nimble and quick he is
