Thats pretty much the reason I feel its a slight advantage playing infront of the VR more. Dont think being at home and VR is an issue per se. But if Catalans play 13 home games on VR plus 4/5 televised away games then statistically they have a better to get more off the borderline tries, which would be disallowed in realtime, given after being scrutinised in Slow mo than the other teams who only appear before VR 7/8 times all season.

Plus dont see why are mate mr cummins should get a jolly to france every few weeks as he does seem to like appointing himself for the ardous task of VR in the south of france quite frequently yet very rarely seems to VR in the uk games.

To be quite honest im totally fed up of seeing silverwood ref our games, he`s like a rash and with ganson out with injury its more likely we will get him more often.

Im not even a fan of Keith Senior but i agree with him calling him Arogrant because he is.

In 2008 we had Silverwood 11 times.

In 2010 we have already had him five times, yet Ian Smith only the once.

Im sure Cummings sits down and thinks, I won't give them Smith because he lets Bradford win, so I'll give them Silverwood who'll do the job right.

I'm not suggesting that, in theory, there isn't a better chance of the correct decision being made, but how having the video at all home games gives some "advantage" to Catalans. The video is used for both teams as and when required by the ref. For sure, there ought to be better decisions made in those games, but clearly, "those dodgy looking tries" can go both ways, for and against Catalans. The idea that only the home club somehow 'benefits' just doesn't stack up, imo.

I would agree that the VR decisions can go either way, so each team IN ANY INDIVIDUAL VR GAME has an equal benefit.

But teams only go to play in France once. Whereas Catalans play there, and have a VR there, every other week, all season.

Now do you see? It would only be the same for all teams, if every team, on average, had the benefit of a VR in the same number of games.

If each team has an equal 'benefit' in a single game, then there is no advantage to either side in that match. No advantage multiplied by what ever number you want still comes to no Advantage. I don't think it's my arithmetic
