| Some kind of grand final event would be good; Watch the match, meet the players, quiz?, etc. However, I suspect that getting sky for a single event may not be cost effective, and so we are more likely to see skyTV installed closer to the new season.

There might be issues of availability or priority on the taxi firms' behalf but that's not my issue to solve.
Another notion is to somehow create a link-up between both Cue Gardens and the Top House, obviously they might be worried if their custom goes elsewhere (TF Bar) but at the same time we want to TF Bar to succeed. Perhaps some kind of mini-pub crawl? But in a more mature way. From walking past on a match day there isn't much of an issue, both established pubs seem rammed, but this could be for the other days.

| ... further continuation "Red, Amber and Black", something Red related in Top House, something Amber related in Cue Gardens followed by something Black related in the Trevor Foster bar. Perhaps not so literal, but something to "collect" (for want of a better term), something to signify each pub/bar is a part of this link-up and each is equal.

| This might be an idea too far but for when there isn't a game on, the whole Coral stand becomes something akin to a Wetherspoons "The Trevor Foster". Or if there is a game on, spend over £x and recieve a free/half price family ticket. I dunno. If someone like me can think of at least something, however daft, then the possibilities must be there.

| Like a loyalty/reward card. So many pints/money spent gets you a free ground ticket which then is given away by the winner to someone else who either wouldnt hopefully normal come to game and then spend over bar from that group increases by one person. Hopefully we play well then they come again
As a season ticket holder i wouldnt object to free tickets given away in return for money spent over bar

| Quote ="Bully_Boxer"If they began selling real ale and showing live sky games or re-runs of classic matches like the heritage organise I would definitely use the bar away from match day. Real ale, if only a couple of options would be a huge draw for a lot of people.
I wouldn't drive/taxi to Odsal to drink what they have at the moment unless I was going for a forum/event.
I think the addition of some comfy sofas and perhaps HD quality tv is a must to be honest.'"
I think its a chicken and egg situation with the real ale. I would be much more likely to go if they did sell it, but until they get decent numbers every night will it be viable given its short storage life? I dont see them selling real ale if its only going to be busy a couple of nights per week.

As I once said to the landlord in my local when he said he was thinking of getting Tetley's in as a guest, "If Tetley's pumped beer directly to my house and I got it free from a tap in the kitchen, I'd still prefer to come to the pub and buy something decent". Strangely, (or maybe not so strangely) after doing a vox pop amongst the regulars he didn't bother with the Tetleys.
Even funnier, a few years later the darts team wanted to run the team in the Tetley's handpump league, not because they wanted the beer but because (apparently) it was a good darts league. Of course, it meant the gaffer had to have it on the bar on darts night, which he did, but trouble was none of my local team's players were actually drinking the stuff and to a large extent neither did the visiting team, so it was hanging round and "cluttering up a pump" (© the landlord) until it went sour. The handpump league didn't reign long....

| After what they did to the Leeds brewery, drinking that sheeite that they have the cheek to still call "Tetleys" is not only a clear sign of having no sense of taste, but also for a Yorkshireman, an offence of treason. If they want customers to support it, then try to con the locals in Warrington or wherever the foul impostor is now "brewed".
They had it on in the airport bar in Alicante, and nobody was even buying it there. Maybe that's where they make it now. I wouldn't be surprised.

There are a few options here:
1. Get someone who attends local festivals with ale tents/stalls - didnt attend Saltaire this year but there was real ale tent at the Chapel Allerton festival supplying a mix of Kirkstall, Roosters and Ridgeside. Someone with that level of skill could manage a similar operation for game day. A more Bradford flavour could be served up - although I may be kicked out of the family but I dont care for Saltaire Ale much (actually brewed in Shipley which irks a pedant like me )
2. I know of a guy who has a number of mobile bars serving up theakstons and black sheep although the bar infrastructure is in place - again I suppose Im saying there is the management out there to provide decent ales for a limited window
3. We, the ale loving arm of the Bradford Bulls support could commit to making sure every last drop is drunk

Some good ideas. I wonder if the contract with Tetley/Carlsburg allows other beers to be sold on the premises? If so it's a no brainer

C/T will have a list of available ales which they would supply to tied houses, so contract permitting, maybe the club would be able to choose from that, though I doubt there will be any of the tiny local independents on it, but of course, if you don't ask you'll never know..

Can't see the Orient fans being too keen on volunteering to run the Bulls bar TBH.

| How about hosting an Odsal beer and curry festival in the coral stand, with a vote for house beer from the guests on the day.

Obviously not, employment-related aside, OKB only has whatever contracts it chooses to enter into itself. However I'm sure that whoever had the deal to supply beer for the old company won't have been slow in making a pitch to the new company - along, I'm equally sure, with reps of their main competitors, who would be very keen for the business.

| The problem with the Breweries is that they offer ready cash and heavily discounted ales for long term contracts, the downside is usually, the better the contract the crapper the product! So someone needs to make sure OK's "Savvy Managers" think quality first easy profit second!
