Lets hope illness and a first run out are the cause of this. I wonder if he will get a run in the Friday team or the Sunday team. On what I saw in the footage I would say Friday's team.

He my mates son and apparently they speak of him quite highly up there. He's a good loose. Very athletic (well compared to me )

If it was being purely based on performances in the two friendlies, he would be playing at Keighley. And based on those performances, no doubt Platt, Walker & Ah Van would be ahead of him in the centre pecking order at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sykes on the bench for Sunday though, as I doubt we only play with 4 subs for that match, and a back that can play a number of positions is ideal if you're putting 6 or 7 on the bench.

Yeah, he was supposed to be in the squad for the Cas game. That's why I'm half thinking about going over on Friday night
