As far as Tansey goes, please no. Incredibly overrated.


For the National Leagues, the best players I've noticed are Beswick at Fax and McNally at Whitehaven. Sadly McNally has signed for Huddersfield already, as he's kicking the out of everyone in that league at the moment.

Ben Black at Fax also looks quite handy considering we're short of half backs.

Sadly not quick enough to play half back in SL, although he could probably give Deacon ten yards start

Aaron Groom looks a very good player at Sheffield. He played in the half backs for Fiji in the World Cup.

Bob Beswick is a good shout, he should be in super league.

Jonny Woodcock would offer you nothing.

He's nowhere near good enough.

I can't really get why Beswick seems to move around the National League. He's clearly a quality player and I can only assume he prefers to play at the lower level (or maybe part time?). I would be surprised if no Super League clubs have offered him a deal in the past.

Beswick is a part time player. Thats what he wants.

When we announced we'd signed Gregg ,loads of Bulls fans were saying he was e and they didnt want him, bet they wished they had now !

There's a young lad playing in the halves at Featherstone called Iestyn Harris.

After MM, I wouldn't touch him, never really thought he was a good player and, my is he ugly. A no go imo.

I was watching Bramley win on Sunday and I think half their players could get in the Bulls squad at the moment, particularly the kicker and full back.

Not me. From day one, I've said he'd be a quality signing. I'm sure had he signed for us, those same people who said he isn't good enough would be proclaiming him the new messiah. Such is the fickle nature of most fans.

Spot on. The last player Mac wants is the only player on the pitch at MM to be fired up enough to win it for Leeds. If you refuse to sign players because they score against the Bulls from an offside position you will soon be running out of options according to some on here.
I've never rated him either tbh, but he has got unchanelled enthusiasm in a Karl Pratt sort of way.

no ing chance, JD is another who prefers to play part time as he has a good job outside of the game.

but seriously look at wakey, kear has recruited well from the NL with the likes of blaymire, blanch, grix and wilkes. and look at wilkin and gardner at saints, there are quality players in the NL but most clubs appear all to eager to sign any old antipodean instead. mark smith at widnes is also an excellent player as is james webster.............

When Widnes went down he was almost out of work - could never understand it.

Add Ian Kirke and Andy Raleigh to that list. Neither are world beaters, but both came from the National League and do a job at least the equal of a lot of the ageing antipodeans that turn up here.

With it being a season long lone i hope for our sake (fax's) that there isnt a recall option unless you are short of players.
