A good win. We played some good stuff at times though, again we didn't always respect possession - fortunately we were outdone in that department by Salford who gifted us plenty of ball. Not sure just when the rain started but I guess that must have affected handling.

I didn't realise Gale had such pace! His score, following the superb break by Sammutt, is just the sort of thing we don't do, according to the pundits on Sky. Thought we tackled well, we got there, and made them stick, often in numbers, terrific defence.

I can see where you're coming from, but in reality, losing 6 points or not isn't going to make any difference to Salford not getting into the playoffs and I'd guess that Dr Koukash neither knows or even cares if they get any Sky money at all.

I am sure one of the supoosed benefits of Salford's new ground was that it was easier to get to!

It's easier to park around, that is true, though this comes with the attendant, 'ages to get away from', problem too. That said, there were roadworks on the roundabout immediately outside the ground so maybe it's not always the case.

I parked at Eccles Rugby league Club. Cost 3 quid and had an attendant on what is a locked up car park. It was a about a mile from the ground so was away and into the jam caused by an accident on the M60 before you knew it.
