| Great choices by Potter, although i do feel sorry for Langley, but he is not on the pitch enough.

| Superb choice. Both lead by example and will give players a kick up the backside when their not pulling their wait.

| Yes, it makes a lot of sense - one of them will be pretty well always on the pitch, barring injury

| Good choice(s). I think thats a good move. It's good that our new owners are letting us have two captains.

| The leaders in our squad will provide direction to the team throughout a game regardless of who the named captain is. One thing both L'Estrange and Diskin share is that they both come across well in interviews and will be great representatives of our club.

Anything else worth reporting on Aaron? Can't get over to Bradford on a week night.

This week has been a really positive week for the club.

Great atmosphere tonight from the 200+ supporters and nice to have the presentation at home in the Coral Stand.
As each player had a short interview from Duffy, there seemed a genuine enthusiasm from them all.
Overriding impression was that they all stated that there would be competition for places and they would need to work hard to get a place in the team.
2 players referred to Luke Gale as an important addition.
2 of the new overseas signings referred to Potter as their catalyst to join the Bulls.
Potter said that his choice of captains was that Diskin was cool under pressure and shown that having played in many Finals.
I think the word he used for L'Strange was "ebullient" on the field. I know what he means.
Potter would not be drawn into where he expected the Bulls to end the season.
Karl Price is a monster. If, he can play to to his size then he'll put the wind up any defence. That's If of course

| Happy to have both just hope Diskin actually turns up and plays this season, his mouth was never a problem. as for those wanting Langers I'm afraid he spends to much time injured and had to much exposure to Lynchy's lamentable Captaincy

| Duke Peter of Hood said to me tonight that we will probably have the biggest threequarter line in the game. Especially if Pryce can secure a place. Its a while since we have been able to say that!
As for the captains: pretty happy with the decision, for the reasons folk have already said. Heath was looking increasingly like a no-brainer; and Diskin is clearly an articulate and intelligent player, something that really came across tonight.

The Bulls Web site shows Purtell at 6'3" and Lulia at 6'4" which is probably right from what we saw tonight.
The site shows Tom at 6'5 weighing 118 Kilos, though tonight he was announced at (iir) 123 Kilos
The site shows Price at 6'6" weighing 118 Kilos.
Although we did not see them together, my impression was that Price was maybe 2" taller than Tom.

| Tom looked to have slimmed down a little from last season but he hasnt lost his power with the ball in hand from what we say at Dewsbury.
Very happy with the selection of captain, langers would have been good but he has had too many injuries lately as already stated which is a shame. Diskin for his experience, Heath for his energy and drive.

| I wonder what will happen on a (rare) occasions when Heath and Diskin are on the field together, and the Ref calls for the captains

It's what you need, Adey. Little guys can't deal with big guys, as proven time after time.

Although Lynchy DID say, at a Bullbuilder event Q&A, that the hardest player he has had to play against was Rob Burrow. Because he is so wick, and gets round him (or through his legs...). He said the big guys he'll happily run at all day; its the little buggers that gave him the hard time.
