I'll hold my hands up. I was pretty annoyed with raynors signing when it was announced, particularly in relation to spending cap money on an extra winger before resolving halves situation. However now we know about halleys injury and how long he's out for, the raynor signing suddenly looks like quite a good bit of business. Whilst I still hope ainscough,finigan and ah van get the first shots at the starting wing berths I can see why we would want an experienced guy ready to step in. We mus have known that halleys injury was worse than initially reported for a few weeks, so well done to club too for keeping it quiet and sorting cover, without alerting other clubs to situation and driving price of the replacement up.

I agree that with Haley being out for a good while, this looks like an astute bit of business signing a SL proven winger on a short term contract.
