| keep up nooriface. petty little insults for a petty little insult. Thank you for confirming that the players got paid. Yes, seeing as you know so much, how many other clubs do pay wages on a credit card? And please explain the mechanics of paying a £200000 (according to some people) wage bill by credit card? Thats one good credit rating, for sure. Thanks for the link but what are you wittering on about? It shows that OK set up the company, got more directors on board, then that team resigned when the new regime came in. What conspiracy theory do you see in these pretty routine changes?
"still not ratified" means you accept that a plan has been put forward contrary to your recent statements. You make no reference to another investor, have you heard about that? No doubt in a few weeks time when his interests are registered you will be posting links to it and saying we have three yes three directors, and we will all be yawning, wondering what planet you are on.
So what do you think of the squad for next year? more tackles and tries in it is what I think so I am confident the points difference at the end of the season will be continue the last two years trend of improvement, which should get us a playoff place in normal circumstances.

must be a bad illness??? so i have a little mind?? i know tons more than Nothus!! ha ha #still notratified???'"
Look, I never professed to 'know more than you' about the club.
Recently on the Wakefield forums, you had a go at a cas fan for making comments about Wakey's future. Despite that, you then come on here and do [iexactly the same thing[/i. So straight away you look like a colossal hypocrite and the tone of your initial post gets people's backs up.
All I did in my response was use information that is public knowledge to point out all of the things you got wrong. As soon as I spot so much that is incorrect, the credibility of everything else you put becomes zero.
Now I can't comment on how our wages were paid, because as just a fan it's nothing to do with me, but September's pay date has been and gone without a sniff of trouble. Even Mr Whitehead has had nothing to say on the matter, he usually loves to make a snide comment or two.
But again you are wrong with more of your statements. The rfl are not basing their decisions on our annual accounts. We have prepared business plans for that, which will be budgets and cashflow forecasts for the next 5 years or so (according to Whitcut, they have a 5 year plan). The co-owners will provide proof of funds, along with other documentation to prove their identity.
None of that has anything to do with companies house or the annual accounts we need to file before the end of May next year.
Nor does it have anything to do with a late annual return. Companies will NEVER be fined for a late annual return. All that will happen is that they will receive a couple of reminders and warnings that not filing an AR can result in a company being struck off the register. But this takes MONTHS to come about, and our AR is 15 days late as of today. Hardly anything to get in a panic over.
Whitcut expects the decision to be made sooner rather than later, let's see what next week brings. For your sake, I hope it brings more than half a dozen season tickets your way.

| Well if it's true, it will certainly leave Mr Moore with a hell of a lot of egg on his face. Probably not for the first time, I'm guessing.

| It seems odd he'd go now when a few weeks back would've made more sense. As we don't need to sell the only reason we'd sell is if he wants out.
Have Hull really got space for him under the cap?
I'll take this with a pinch of salt for now.

I think Hull have picked up some injuries to their forwards in recent weeks though, which may have forced their arm.
Anyway, let's just wait and see. If MM was telling the truth then you'd expect him to reject their offer.

| Moore can sell/let Carvell go.
We will almost certainly be relegated and receive even less sky money than now, so will probably end up going semi pro at bradford PA's ground.
...Or keep him give ourselves a chance to stay up, get the new bumper sky money and rebuild.
Not that one player makes the team, but he's like our 'marque' signing and I think it will completely deflate the squad.

We lost 2 props on Sunday and were already a bit light.
Think there is something in this.

| Guess we'll have to wait and see now then. Perhaps the offer from Hull is too good to turn down if they're offering cash plus a player. We have quite a few options in the back row but not a huge amount of size there, so potentially losing one of our bigger men is a worry. I've said before that if we can keep this pack together we have a reasonable chance of staying out the relegation battle.
Lose a prop and a few competition points in the next few days and I'd be feeling quite uneasy.

| I was under the impression that Hull were at or very near the cap maximum. If that's so an "exchange" between Pitts and Carvell would not add up.
Perhaps Black and White fans may tell us that there is room for a highly paid international kin their budget.
If this turns out to be true I agree with Bully Boxers comments.

| Twitter has been red hot with this rumour since late afternoon, would have been easy for @Carvs81 to rubbish it
Still only a rumour at this stage.....
Pitts was also rumoured to be on his way, possibly to Donny, but still SL standard IMO, can play prop but is a bit on the small side, solid squad player

Adam Pearson has indeed said that we were near the cap limit and that to bring anyone in we would need to move players on, since then 2 youngsters have gone to Donny, Cunningham on season loan to London and Pitts possibly out the door so might just add up. A couple of weeks ago we were supposedly having a second look at the Fijan prop (forgotten his name) who played in the World Cup. Injuries to Liam Watts & Chris Green at Featherstone on Sunday looks to have pushed us into the market as both could be out for significant periods. Deal would only make sense if we offered a 2 year deal so maybe loaded in year 2.
Guess we will know tomorrow as too much around on social media and clubs will have to come out with a denial or admission.
Mrs Carvell could block the deal

| Depends whether Carvell wants To toHe's an international prop who can command a big wage. Certainly doesn't need a season of uncertainty in his last couple of years.
